Preface - Why ActionScript 3.0?

Everyone knows what Flash is for, off course.

But do you know what actually drives the animations? Or the characters in your online Flash games? Why do they respond to our mouse clicks or keyboard hits? They are all written in the scripts behind them that make them have actions! Yup, it's the ActionScript!

This blog is everything you need to know to create your own "smart" or fully responsive websites or even cool games like the one you play on FACEBOOK, and handy apps like picture gallery using ActionScript 3.0 (AS3).

Why do I bother sharing what I have mastered from spending 4.5 years of my youth life in Computer Science School at Monash University with you guys? Because I got really bored with all the static and lifeless websites! I want more people to know how to revamp their websites and create cooler online games! For better online experience! Besides, for God's sheik, good IT books are so expensive these days!
